People Operations Specialist – Settlements & Compliance

About the role

The People Operations Specialist – Employee Settlements & Compliance ensures accurate, timely and lawful employee financial lifecycle operations across the organization. You will manage final settlement calculations, End of Service Benefits, statutory social insurance contributions and related processes for both corporate and frontline staff.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare precise final settlement calculations, including EOSB, leave encashment, notice pay and deductions.
• Ensure all settlements comply with local labor laws, company policies and contractual obligations.
• Calculate statutory social insurance contributions for applicable employee groups, including GCC nationals under relevant frameworks.
• Administer high‑volume settlement calculations for operational roles in Marketplace, Grocery and Snoomart.
• Process complex settlement calculations for corporate employees, international staff and executives.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.
• Identify process gaps and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Finance, Employee Relations, People Partners and PROs to coordinate settlements, payroll and statutory obligations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in HR operations, payroll, compensation or related functions.
• Strong understanding of local labor legislation and statutory social insurance requirements.
• Experience handling high‑volume settlement processes and complex compensation structures.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of End of Service Benefits (EOSB) calculations.
• Proficiency with statutory social insurance and GCC insurance protection frameworks.
• Ability to manage large‑scale settlement workflows for both operational and corporate staff.
