About the role
The Permit to Work (PTW) Coordinator will oversee the offshore PTW system, ensuring that all maintenance, construction and operational tasks are carried out safely and in line with company procedures and regulatory standards. This role acts as the central point of contact for permit issuance, monitoring, suspension and closure across offshore facilities.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate the issuance, monitoring, suspension and closure of work permits.
- Verify that all work activities are risk‑assessed and authorised before execution.
- Ensure compliance with PTW, isolation, SIMOPS and HSE procedures.
- Liaise with operations, maintenance and contractor personnel to clarify permit requirements.
- Review Job Safety Analyses, method statements and risk assessments.
- Maintain accurate PTW records, reports and audit trails.
- Conduct permit audits and support safety inspections.
- Assist during shutdowns, turnarounds and major maintenance campaigns.
Required profile
- Diploma, HND, Associate Degree or equivalent technical qualification.
- Minimum 10 years experience in oil & gas operations, production or maintenance.
- At least 6 years working with production operations and control systems.
- Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, H2S and PTW are preferred.
- Strong coordination and communication abilities.
