Permit to Work (PTW) Coordinator - Offshore

About the role

The Permit to Work (PTW) Coordinator manages and controls the Permit to Work system so that maintenance, construction and operational activities are carried out safely and in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements. The position is based in Doha and is full time.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the issuance, monitoring, suspension and closure of work permits.
• Verify that all work activities are properly risk assessed and authorised.
• Ensure compliance with Permit to Work, Isolation, SIMOPS and HSE procedures.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance and Contractor personnel on permit requirements.
• Review Job Safety Analyses (JSA), method statements and risk assessments.
• Maintain PTW records and reports.
• Conduct permit audits and take part in safety inspections.
• Support shutdowns, turnarounds and major maintenance campaigns.

Required profile

• Diploma, Higher National Diploma (HND), Associate Degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in oil and gas operations, production or maintenance environments.
• Minimum 6 years of experience with production operations and control systems.
• Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS), SCADA or Oil & Gas Control Command Systems.
• Strong knowledge of PTW, isolation management, lockout/tagout (LOTO) and SIMOPS.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
• NEBOSH, IOSH, H2S and PTW certifications preferred.
