Pharmacist

About the role

We are seeking a qualified, customer‑focused Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for safe medication dispensing, providing professional advice, and ensuring compliance with local health regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately in line with prescriptions and Qatar MoPH/DHP regulations.
• Provide professional counsel on medication use, dosage, precautions, and possible interactions.
• Review prescriptions to confirm appropriate dispensing.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records, documentation, and inventory control, including stock monitoring and expiry management.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build strong relationships with patients.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy procedures, professional standards, and Qatar healthcare regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional pharmacy environment.
• Work flexible retail and shift schedules as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) required; MPharm considered an advantage.
• Valid Qatar MoPH/DHP Pharmacist licence preferred or eligibility for licensing after DHP evaluation.
• Minimum 2 years post‑registration pharmacy experience (community/retail preferred).
• For MPharm candidates: at least 2 years post‑registration experience; Prometric/N.P.Q.E. completion preferred.
• For BPharm candidates: at least 2 years post‑registration experience with Prometric/N.P.Q.E. qualification.
• Prometric, DataFlow, and MoPH/DHP eligibility required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Currently residing in Qatar with a transferable RP/visa.
• Willingness to work flexible retail/shift schedules.
