Physical Education Teacher (Primary & Secondary)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Physical Education teacher to join our growing school community in September 2026. The role involves delivering engaging PE lessons across primary and secondary year groups, fostering an inclusive and high‑performing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver curriculum‑aligned PE and sport sessions for primary and secondary students.
• Incorporate BTEC Sport and GCSE PE content where appropriate.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Contribute to the wider extracurricular programme, including clubs and events.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative, evidence‑based teaching approaches.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of teaching experience in PE.
• Qualified Teacher Status and a relevant teaching degree.
• Passion for sport, games and inclusive education.
• Commitment to high standards and ability to work under pressure.
• Enthusiasm for professional development and teamwork.

Required skills

• Knowledge of BTEC Sport and GCSE PE curricula.
• Proficiency in a variety of teaching and learning methodologies.
• Ability to teach across primary and secondary age ranges.
