Piping Engineer - Engineering

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is looking for a Piping Engineer in Doha to review piping engineering documents, drawings, specifications, isometrics and line lists, and design deliverables, ensuring they meet technical compliance. The role reviews work submitted by EPC contractors and supports procurement and construction.

Key responsibilities

• Review engineering documents submitted by EPC contractors.
• Provide piping engineering input for scope of work, specifications and design criteria.
• Review design basis, piping standard drawings, piping classes, line lists and isometrics.
• Coordinate with civil, machinery, rotating and other discipline teams.
• Support procurement and construction through technical review and clarification.
• Prepare daily and weekly engineering progress reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Piping Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience on large EPC oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
• Fluent in English.

Required skills

• Piping design, isometric drawings, line lists, piping classes and equipment layout.
• 3D model review.
• Knowledge of international codes, standards, technical documentation and quality control.
• Proficiency in MS Office and engineering software.
