Piping Flexibility Engineer

About the role

Saipem is looking for a Piping Flexibility Engineer to join its Qatar Engineering Fixed Facilities Department. You will work closely with the Piping and Layout Manager, supporting the design, analysis and procurement of piping networks across all project stages.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate technical activities inside and outside Saipem, ensuring compliance with QA/QC and HSE requirements.
• Perform stress‑analysis design of piping networks for proposal, FEED and EPC phases.
• Issue material requisitions, develop technical supply specifications and evaluate bids for piping support components.
• Provide technical support during feasibility, bidding and commercial proposal development.
• Set up and use engineering software, manage budgets, schedules and quality for flexibility analysis tasks.
• Review client documentation, design piping supports, issue stress analysis and support specifications, and identify critical lines.

Required profile

• Engineering background with experience in piping flexibility and stress analysis.
• Ability to work across proposal, FEED and EPC stages and ensure QA/QC and HSE compliance.
• Strong analytical skills for preliminary calculations, quantity estimation and budgeting.
