Power Platform Release Specialist

About the role

The Power Platform Release Specialist is responsible for governing the end‑to‑end release lifecycle of Power Platform solutions within a large enterprise environment. The role ensures that deployments of Power Apps, Power Automate flows and Dataverse are secure, stable and compliant across all stages from development to production.

Key responsibilities

• Manage enterprise‑wide release and lifecycle governance for Power Platform across Development, Test, UAT and Production environments.
• Design, maintain and monitor release pipelines for Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse using Azure DevOps.
• Enforce managed solutions, version control, dependency mapping and rollback procedures.
• Control release configuration items such as connection references, environment variables and service accounts.
• Coordinate release readiness with development, administration, cybersecurity and governance teams.
• Maintain comprehensive release records, deployment logs and audit evidence.
• Provide support for production release issues and conduct post‑deployment reviews.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of overall IT experience, with at least 4 years focused on Power Platform administration, governance and ALM.
• Preferred certifications: PL‑400, PL‑410 or PL‑600.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven stakeholder management skills.
