About the role

The Premier Support Officer at HSBC serves Premier Banking customers in Qatar, acting as the first point of contact for high‑net‑worth clients. The role focuses on delivering exceptional, efficient, and professional service across face‑to‑face, telephone, and written interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Meet customer expectations for efficiency, accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism.
• Utilise HSBC tools and information to drive service delivery and Premier Banking performance.
• Assist customers with basic banking requirements across all products and services, aiming to achieve cross‑sell targets.
• Process customer instructions while adhering to productivity, quality, compliance, and regulatory standards.
• Strictly follow Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and procedural guidelines.
• Minimise discrepancies on customer applications and documentation.
• Support Premier Relationship Managers by handling documentation administration for assigned customers.
• Identify potential Premier customers for referral and cross‑selling opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven ability in customer service and building strong client relationships.
• Capability to identify customer needs and influence appropriate actions.
• Broad knowledge of financial planning and understanding of the mass‑affluent segment (desirable).
• Familiarity with referral processes and Premier, Advance, and Personal Banking propositions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer‑driven mindset with a strong focus on service quality.
• Ability to make lending decisions in line with bank policies and guidelines.
• Clear understanding of value creation within the premium segment for both customers and the bank.
