Primary Teacher (Permanent)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join our academic department on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will create engaging, inclusive lessons and foster a supportive learning environment for all students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver well‑structured, inquiry‑based lessons that cater to diverse learners.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies to promote creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and independence.
• Maintain high expectations for learning, behaviour and personal responsibility.
• Build a safe, inclusive classroom culture based on positive relationships and respect.
• Integrate technology to enhance learning and develop digital skills.
• Encourage student agency through goal‑setting, reflection and ownership of learning.
• Implement behaviour management aligned with school policies and restorative practices.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design coherent grade‑level programmes and align curriculum with international best practices.
• Use formative and summative assessments to monitor progress, inform instruction and provide timely feedback.
• Differentiate instruction for EAL, SEN and high‑achieving students and work with the Inclusion Department for targeted support.
• Participate actively in team meetings, professional learning communities and whole‑school initiatives.
