About the role
The Principal HSES Specialist will lead the development and implementation of health, safety, environment and security (HSES) strategies for complex energy projects, working independently with minimal guidance.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, lead and ensure the HSE Management System aligns with corporate, legislative and client requirements.
- Plan and execute internal and external HSES audits, compliance programs and incident investigations.
- Provide technical and commercial support during tendering, manage HSES budgets and KPI monitoring.
- Supervise HSES personnel, guide professional development and lead root‑cause analyses.
Required profile
- Degree or equivalent in an HSES‑related field with 7‑8 years of HSE experience in the energy industry.
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and certified ISO lead auditor for standards 9001, 14001 or 45001.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint).
- Experience with HSES risk‑management processes and emergency procedures.
