Principal (IT/Digital) – Energy Practice

About the role

BCG Platinion is seeking a Principal (IT/Digital) to join its Energy Practice. In this senior consulting role you will partner with client leadership to diagnose key challenges, design end‑to‑end IT strategies and drive high‑impact digital transformation initiatives across the energy sector.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with C‑suite and senior stakeholders to define and prioritize digital and technology road‑maps.
• Lead multi‑disciplinary case teams in delivering architecture, cybersecurity, enterprise‑application and risk solutions.
• Secure client buy‑in for strategic recommendations and oversee implementation at scale.
• Mentor and develop junior consultants, ensuring high‑quality delivery and knowledge transfer.
• Represent BCG Platinion as a thought leader in energy‑focused digital transformation.

Required profile

• Extensive consulting experience, preferably within the energy industry.
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale digital transformation projects.
• Strong client‑facing skills and ability to influence senior decision‑makers.
• Demonstrated leadership of cross‑functional teams.
