Process Engineer Level II

About the role

Worley is seeking a Process Engineer Level II to support the standardisation of equipment specifications, drawings and document templates across its energy, chemicals and resources projects. The role involves ensuring technical excellence, compliance with legal and customer requirements, and delivering high‑quality process designs for on‑shore and off‑shore assets.

Key responsibilities

• Support the standardisation of equipment specifications, drawings and document templates.
• Apply local and global standards to ensure technical excellence and compliance.
• Conduct checks, peer reviews and incorporate comments and findings.
• Adopt recognised on‑shore and off‑shore engineering practices for process design.
• Prepare design specifications and scope of work for process activities.
• Manage project changes, coordinate with the Project Management Team and take corrective actions.
• Plan and monitor discipline quality, recommend improvements and ensure all work is checked and approved before issue.
• Provide technical support within the discipline team and liaise with project resources.
• Coordinate review and approval of designs against client requirements.
• Estimate process man‑hours using current TW Process norms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Mandatory MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation or willingness to obtain it during probation.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or pursuit of it is an advantage.
• Proven process engineering experience in oil and gas on‑shore and off‑shore projects.
• Experience working in multi‑disciplinary project teams within the same or similar industry.
• Understanding of quality assurance systems and occupational health & safety procedures.
