Procurement & Supply Chain Manager

About the role

SAUR is seeking a Procurement & Supply Chain Manager in Doha to lead procurement activities, ensuring timely, cost‑effective and compliant sourcing of goods, services, equipment and spare parts for its operations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement procurement policies, category strategies and annual plans aligned with group guidance.
• Lead RFQ/RFP processes, negotiate contracts, manage supplier qualification and performance.
• Oversee purchase‑to‑pay, logistics, warehousing and inventory management to ensure continuity and cost optimisation.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation plans and deliver measurable savings and process efficiencies.
• Lead, coach and develop the procurement, logistics and warehouse team while building strong stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of procurement/supply‑chain experience, at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in utilities, water, infrastructure or similar operational environments.
• Experience in Qatar/GCC or international procurement environments is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in procurement or supply‑chain management; professional certification is a plus.
