Professor of Public Health & Oral Radiology (Faculty Position)

About the role

This faculty position involves teaching public health, basic sciences, and oral and maxillofacial radiology within an undergraduate dental curriculum. The role blends classroom and clinical instruction, research participation, curriculum development, and university service.

Key responsibilities

• Teach head and neck anatomy, oral and maxillofacial radiology, and basic medical and dental sciences to undergraduate dental students.
• Provide both clinical and didactic oral and maxillofacial radiology instruction.
• Lead teaching activities in oral and maxillofacial radiology labs and clinics.
• Participate in research protocols and collaborate with the dental research team.
• Contribute to curriculum development and manage relevant courses and modules.
• Serve on departmental and university committees.

Required profile

• PhD or equivalent in oral radiology, basic dental or medical sciences from a reputable university.
• Basic degree in dentistry and eligibility for licensing in Qatar.
• Previous teaching experience in undergraduate dental or medical education.
• Outstanding research and publication record.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of oral and maxillofacial radiology techniques and interpretation.
• Strong understanding of basic medical and dental sciences.
