Project Coordinator – Construction & MEP Projects

About the role

The Project Coordinator will act as the central point of contact for all project stakeholders, ensuring that construction and MEP projects progress smoothly from award to final hand‑over. You will manage documentation, track milestones, and support the Project Manager in delivering projects on time and within scope.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Manage all project documentation, including material submittals, shop drawings, technical data sheets, RFIs, BOQs and revisions.
• Prepare close‑out documents such as As‑Built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties and final hand‑over packages.
• Follow up on document approvals, material deliveries and project milestones.
• Create purchase requisitions and orders, liaising with Procurement for timely supply.
• Maintain project trackers, document registers and records.
• Draft correspondence, reports, meeting minutes and other administrative documents.
• Coordinate with Finance on invoices, payment certificates and related paperwork.
• Support the Project Manager in monitoring progress and resolving coordination issues.
• Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management or Business Administration.
• 4–6 years of experience in project coordination within construction, MEP, engineering or trading companies.
• Strong knowledge of project documentation, material submittals, BOQs, As‑Built drawings and close‑out procedures.
• Experience in Qatar or the GCC is preferred.
