Project Coordinator - Electrical (Home Office)

About the role

The Project Coordinator – Electrical will operate from a home office in Vadodara, acting as the central hub for all project activities related to electrical substations and associated equipment. You will work closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and vendor teams to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the single point of coordination for all project‑related tasks at the home office.
• Issue Requests for Quotation (RFQ) and follow up with vendors to secure timely submissions.
• Facilitate technical clarification meetings and support internal teams in evaluating vendor proposals.
• Track vendor deliverables, drawings, and documentation against project timelines.
• Proactively expedite critical activities and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
• Prepare and consolidate vendor progress reports for senior management.
• Organise vendor kick‑off meetings, progress reviews, and risk mitigation sessions.
• Support order placement, inspection readiness, logistics, and delivery tracking to ensure material availability on site.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical projects, especially substations and related equipment.
• Proven experience coordinating large‑scale projects and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Strong vendor management and expediting skills.
