Project Engineer

About the role

You will play a key part in planning, coordinating and executing complex technical projects involving Unmanned Autonomous Vehicles (UxV) such as aerial, ground and surface platforms, counter‑drone solutions and command‑and‑control software. Working closely with the Project Manager, multidisciplinary internal teams and external end‑users, you will help deliver reliable, mission‑ready defence solutions from concept to field deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Support project planning, scheduling, milestones and technical delivery.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to system design, architecture, integration, testing and validation.
• Support field trials, demonstrations, deployment and operational activities.
• Coordinate with clients, defence authorities, suppliers and technology partners.
• Ensure technical documentation, quality, safety and defence standards are maintained.
• Assist with risk management, issue resolution and continuous system improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems or Aerospace Engineering.
• 5+ years of engineering/project experience, preferably in defence, security or unmanned systems.
• Experience in system integration, testing and deployment of complex systems.
• Willingness to support field trials, travel and operational activities.
