Project Engineer – Typhoon Availability Service

About the role

The Project Engineer will support Project Management activities for the Typhoon Availability Service at Dukhan Airbase, Qatar. Reporting to the Project Management Lead, the role ensures governance, performance monitoring and reporting across the operation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Project Management support to Dukhan delivery areas and run a subset of the Business Rhythm, reviewing risk, opportunity, change and spend.
• Coordinate OPR inputs, act as the Project Management conscience, and escalate issues as required.
• Manage financial information, risk and opportunities, and develop integrated program schedules for non‑recurring work.
• Control and report against internal and contractual KPIs, and support resource manpower planning.
• Prepare and attend reviews such as OPR, QCRs, QBRs, Change Control Boards and customer PRMs.

Required profile

• In‑depth project control knowledge in an operational aircraft support environment.
• Experience in resource demand management, forecasting and programme reporting.
• Strong analytical skills to manipulate data, identify trends and produce management information.
• Ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders and challenge project performance.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Office proficiency.
• Experience with JIRA.
• Familiarity with Confluence.
• Knowledge of Tableau.
