Protective Coatings Sales Executive

About the role

The Protective Coatings Sales Executive will promote and sell Asian Paints Berger protective coating products to existing and new customers in Qatar. The role focuses on building strong relationships with key stakeholders, achieving sales and margin targets, and expanding market share.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and visit existing and prospective customers regularly within assigned territory.
• Manage existing accounts to increase share and develop new accounts through product briefings, sampling, and commercial negotiations.
• Prepare quotations, sign annual rate contracts, and achieve monthly sales targets.
• Collect payments according to credit terms and monitor receivables.
• Collaborate with technology teams to identify product gaps and support new product development.
• Use CRM tools to handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
• Build partnerships with contractors, applicators, and consultants to secure brand preference in project specifications.
• Provide on‑site technical support, monitor project progress, and ensure timely, quality completion.
• Prepare professional proposals and presentations to win new contracts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum three years of B2B technical sales or business development experience, preferably in protective coatings or paint industry.
• Relevant certifications such as NACE are preferred.
• Willingness to travel extensively across project sites and new geographies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Strong command of MS Office applications.
