Public Relations Specialist

About the role

The Public Relations Specialist will act as the primary liaison between the company and Qatari authorities, ensuring full compliance with labour, immigration and corporate licensing regulations. The role supports smooth business operations by managing all government‑related documentation, licences and visa processes for employees and the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Handle application, renewal and cancellation of all licences and permits required for company operations.
• Prepare and process labour and residency visa applications for all employees in line with Qatar Labour Law and immigration rules.
• Coordinate mandatory onboarding formalities such as medical screenings, fingerprinting and blood‑group tests.
• Manage family sponsorship, business and multi‑entry visas for international staff and visitors.
• Maintain and track records of personnel and commercial registration documents.
• Represent the company at the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and liaise with ministries, municipalities, visa authorities and other government bodies.
• Utilise online government portals (Metrash2, Ministry of Labour e‑services) to submit documentation and resolve any penalties or fines.
• Coordinate document attestation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, embassies and local notaries.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Qatar Labour Law, immigration regulations and corporate licensing frameworks.
• Proven experience dealing with Qatari ministries, municipalities and visa authorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple regulatory deadlines.
• Effective communication skills to inform internal departments of regulatory updates.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Metrash2 government portal
• Experience using the Ministry of Labour e‑services portal
