About the role
The Pulpit Operator will monitor and control steel plant production processes from the control room, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and monitor plant equipment, production parameters, alarms, and operating conditions through control systems.
- Coordinate with field operators, maintenance teams, and supervisors to maintain smooth plant operations.
- Identify abnormal conditions, equipment faults, and process deviations and take corrective action.
- Maintain accurate production logs, operating records, and shift reports.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in steel plant or similar production environment.
- Relevant education or training in manufacturing, process or production engineering.
