QA/QC Engineer – Oil & Gas Projects

About the role

The QA/QC Engineer will provide quality assurance and control expertise for both brownfield and greenfield oil & gas projects, covering engineering, design, procurement, construction, installation, repair and modification of onshore and offshore facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate QA/QC inspectors, contract engineers and NDT technicians to ensure compliance with procedures and standards.
• Perform metallurgical failure analysis on plant and offshore components, identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Support procurement by reviewing purchase requisitions, inspection requirements, technical bids and third‑party inspections.
• Review critical repair documentation such as WPS, PQR, inspection reports and QA/QC records.
• Participate in startup readiness reviews, risk assessments, EMOC and RCFA activities from a QA/QC perspective.
• Conduct supplier, vendor and contractor quality audits and verify corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of QA/QC experience in the oil & gas industry, onshore and/or offshore.
• Professional certifications in welding, NDT, inspection or quality auditing are preferred.
