QA/QC Engineer – Valve Inspection and Hot Tapping

About the role
Madre Integrated Engineering is looking for a qualified QA/QC Engineer in Doha to oversee valve inspection, hot tapping, leak sealing and refurbishment activities. The engineer must ensure compliance with ASME, AWS, API and other international standards, while keeping quality control, coordinating with site teams and meeting safety and project requirements.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in valve inspection
- At least 2 years of experience in hot tapping and in-service operation inspection
- Experience in valve refurbishment, leak sealing and hot tapping operations
- Site experience is an added advantage
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of international codes and standards such as ASME, AWS, ASME Sec IX, API 1104, PCC-1 and PCC-2
- Preferred: CSWIP 3.1 certification (CSWIP 3.2.2 preferred)
- Preferred: NDE Level II certification
- Preferred: BGAS G2 Painting Certification, ISO and API certifications
