QHSE Officer / Coordinator – Electromechanical Maintenance

About the role

The QHSE Officer/Coordinator will lead Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental governance for a large‑scale electromechanical maintenance and facility management project in Doha. You will ensure that all activities meet Qatar regulations and international standards while supporting safe and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct QHSE inspections, audits and site assessments.
• Monitor electromechanical maintenance work for QHSE compliance.
• Perform risk assessments and track corrective actions.
• Support incident investigations and root‑cause analysis.
• Implement QHSE and risk‑management procedures.
• Deliver QHSE training and awareness sessions.
• Monitor project KPIs and prepare audit, incident and performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 31000 and relevant NFPA standards.

Required profile

• Recognized Health & Safety or Safety Management qualification (NEBOSH Diploma required).
• Minimum 5 years of QHSE experience on GCC‑scale projects.
• At least 2 years of Facility Management experience.
• Strong background in safety auditing, inspection and incident analysis.
• Experience with Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
• Multi‑site project exposure preferred.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
