Quality Assurance Specialist – Offshore Project

About the role

The Quality Assurance Specialist will support an offshore compression project in Qatar, ensuring the Project Quality Management System aligns with corporate standards and project expectations. The role provides leadership for quality surveillance, audit management, and continuous improvement throughout the contract period.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation of the Project Quality Plan and oversee the contractor’s quality management system.
• Verify that engineering, procurement and construction quality procedures meet project specifications.
• Manage Quality Surveillance Programs, CAR/NCR/DR follow‑up and reporting.
• Coordinate audit programs, quality inductions and performance reporting.
• Implement the Quality Flawless Execution Program and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Report directly to the Head of Quality and ensure compliance with corporate quality requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years (96 months) of experience in quality assurance within offshore oil & gas projects.
• Strong self‑organisation, proactive coordination and ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to travel as required and engage with global teams.
• Excellent judgement to resolve complex quality issues.
