About the role
Candidzone is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a consultancy project in Qatar. The role involves managing cost control activities and ensuring accurate commercial reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Manage quantity surveying and cost control activities for the project.
- Prepare and review quantity take‑offs, BOQs, and cost estimates.
- Verify contractor valuations, variations, and payment applications.
- Review drawings, specifications, and contractual documents.
- Monitor project costs and provide accurate commercial reports.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project teams.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or quantity surveying.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience working in a consultancy environment.
- Strong knowledge of quantity surveying, measurement, and cost control.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
