About the role
Bernini Trading and Contracting is hiring a full-time Quantity Surveyor based in Doha. The role covers cost estimation, budget monitoring, contract administration and coordination with project teams.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets and bills of quantities (BOQ)
- Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budget
- Evaluate contractor quotations and prepare comparison reports
- Manage variations, claims and contract administration
- Conduct site visits and progress evaluations
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants and subcontractors
- Prepare interim valuations and final accounts
- Collaborate with architects, engineers and site teams
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil construction projects
- Must be locally available in Qatar
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods and cost control
- Good communication and negotiation skills
