Registration Senior Specialist

About the role

The University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) is looking for a Registration Senior Specialist. The role covers graduation administration, academic awards and the start-of-semester registration process, working closely with the Colleges and other university units.

Key responsibilities

• Compile the list of students eligible for graduation and prepare graduation confirmation letters and other documentation.
• Conduct graduation audits of student records and resolve discrepancies with the Colleges.
• Confirm graduates, identify high achievers for academic awards, run the graduation communication plan, confer degrees and prepare certificates.
• Answer inquiries from students, faculty and stakeholders about graduation requirements and awards.
• Ensure fair and transparent selection of award recipients, determine winners, maintain award records and liaise with the Admissions and Registration Directorate and the Financial Division for payment of monetary awards.
• Plan and coordinate graduation and awards ceremonies with the Marketing and Communications Directorate and the Colleges.
• Review and recommend changes to Graduation Policies and Procedures and Academic Awards criteria.
• Assist with semester registration and coordinate updates to the Academic Catalog.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree or professional certification preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in academic administration, student services or a related field.
• Fluent written and spoken English; fluent Arabic preferred.
