About the role
Madre Integrated Engineering is hiring a Rigger in Doha within the oil and gas sector. The role covers marine rigging and lifting activities, working closely with crane operators, banksmen and the deck crew.
Key responsibilities
- Perform rigging, lifting, loading, unloading and material-handling activities
- Assist with mooring and other marine deck operations
- Inspect slings, shackles, hooks, ropes and lifting accessories before use
- Follow lifting plans, signals, permit-to-work procedures and HSE procedures
- Coordinate with crane operators, banksmen and deck crew
- Maintain safe work areas and proper housekeeping
Required profile
- Minimum 3-5 years of rigging experience in marine environments
- Experience on vessels, barges, shipyards, ports or marine projects
- Familiarity with mooring and deck operations
- Physically fit and able to work in marine conditions
- Valid Rigger / Banksman / Slinger certification preferred
