Room Attendant

About the role

The Room Attendant joins the housekeeping team to ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean, tidy, and welcoming. Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will maintain high standards of sanitation and provide courteous service to enhance the guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and tidy guest rooms, including changing linens, making beds, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and bathroom cleaning.
• Replenish guest amenities such as towels, toiletries, and drinking glasses.
• Remove trash, dirty linens, and room‑service items from rooms.
• Disinfect sinks, toilets, showers, bathtubs, and bathroom floors.
• Restock bathroom supplies (soap, shampoo, tissue, towels).
• Respond promptly to guest requests with courtesy.
• Report lost‑and‑found items, maintenance issues, and missing inventory to the appropriate supervisor.
• Ensure housekeeping carts are stocked at the start and end of each shift.
• Maintain proper storage and safe use of cleaning chemicals.
• Clean public areas including hallways, elevators, lobbies, and back‑of‑house spaces.

Required profile

• High school certificate.
• At least two years of experience in a similar housekeeping role.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer‑service skills.
• Commitment to follow SOPs, health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
