Safety Assistant – Workplace Safety Support

About the role
We are looking for a Safety Assistant to support workplace safety by conducting inspections, delivering safety orientations, and ensuring compliance with Qatari health and safety regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Perform daily inspections of worksites, buildings, and facilities to identify hazards, unsafe acts, and fire risks.
- Inspect safety equipment such as fire extinguishers, emergency exits, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist in delivering safety inductions, toolbox talks, and emergency drills for new and existing workers.
- Support senior safety officers in recording near‑misses, tracking safety data, and investigating accidents.
- Ensure adherence to local labor laws and international safety standards.
Required profile
- High school diploma, technical diploma, or bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering field.
- 5–8 years of experience in construction, hospitality, or facility management.
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA.
- Good spoken and written English; Arabic is a plus.
