Sales Executive – Hotel Rooms & Events

About the role

The Sales Executive drives room, banquet and catering revenue for Kempinski Doha across corporate, leisure and MICE segments. You will prospect new business, manage local accounts, and turn leads into confirmed bookings while acting as the bridge between administrative support and senior account management.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively sell hotel rooms, meeting spaces and F&B packages to corporate clients, travel agencies and event planners.
• Generate leads through cold calling, telemarketing, networking events and competitor research.
• Conduct professional site inspections and hotel tours for prospective clients.
• Maintain a portfolio of local accounts, ensuring regular contact and high client satisfaction.
• Prepare accurate RFP responses, contracts and pro‑forma invoices aligned with pricing strategies.
• Coordinate with Revenue, Reservations, Front Office and Banquets teams to ensure smooth event execution.
• Update the hotel CRM (Opera, Delphi, Salesforce) with client data, activity logs and monthly reports.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in hotel front office, reservations or sales coordination, preferably in the Qatar market.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to work under pressure to meet revenue goals.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Property Management Systems such as Opera.
• Experience using CRM tools like Delphi or Salesforce.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
