SCADA Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

Our client seeks a SCADA Cyber Security Engineer to ensure the secure operation of critical operational technology (OT) environments across a major infrastructure network. You will focus on cyber security, industrial communications, network monitoring and SCADA system reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain secure OT and SCADA communications.
• Support cyber security systems and network management platforms.
• Monitor communication performance across operational systems.
• Investigate cyber security incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors.
• Support server maintenance and communications infrastructure.
• Produce security, network performance and operational reports.
• Review cyber security risks and recommend improvements.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years' experience supporting SCADA or Industrial Control Systems.
• Experience within utilities, water, wastewater, energy or critical infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of industrial cyber security and network management.
• Excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills.
