Senior Architect & BIM Manager – Doha, Qatar

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Architect who will also act as BIM Manager for our Doha office. The role combines architectural design expertise with leadership of BIM processes across multidisciplinary projects, ensuring high‑quality delivery aligned with international standards and Qatari regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and enforce BIM standards, workflows and execution plans across projects.
• Serve as the primary BIM authority for architectural disciplines, ensuring compliance with company, client and project BIM requirements.
• Prepare and manage BIM Execution Plans, Model Responsibility Matrices and BIM protocols.
• Oversee model coordination, clash detection and issue resolution in collaboration with structural, MEP and infrastructure teams.
• Manage architectural BIM models from concept through construction, ensuring compliance with local codes and international standards.
• Review models, drawings and deliverables for quality, accuracy and constructability.
• Coordinate with internal multidisciplinary teams and external consultants for seamless BIM integration.
• Lead, mentor and assign tasks to BIM architects and modelers, conducting internal training sessions.
• Implement QA/QC procedures for BIM outputs and stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s a plus).
• 10–15 years of architectural design experience with strong BIM exposure.
• Minimum 5 years as a BIM Manager or BIM Lead on medium to large‑scale projects.
• Experience in multidisciplinary projects such as residential, commercial, mixed‑use, hospitality, healthcare and infrastructure.
• Strong leadership, communication and multitasking abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Revit.
• Strong knowledge of Navisworks.
• AutoCAD expertise.
• Experience with BIM 360 / ACC.
• Solid understanding of BIM coordination, clash detection and ISO 19650 standards.
