Senior Cyber Security Assessor – Certification

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Information Security / Cyber Security Assessor to lead certification and compliance assessments. You will evaluate organisations against national and international security standards, conduct risk assessments and audits, and ensure impartiality and quality throughout the certification lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver certification assessment and review activities for organisations seeking information security or cyber security certification.
• Manage assessment teams, assign cases and oversee daily certification operations.
• Review and evaluate compliance with national and international cyber security standards and frameworks.
• Assess design and operating effectiveness of security controls and conduct risk assessments, audits and compliance reviews.
• Maintain accurate records of certification activities and ensure confidentiality and consistency.
• Document findings with objective evidence and develop certification procedures, methodologies and supporting tools.
• Provide recommendations and assessment outcomes to stakeholders and manage external communication throughout the audit lifecycle.
• Stay updated on emerging threats, technologies, standards and best practices.
• Develop and deliver internal training sessions to enhance team capabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Information Systems, Cyber Security or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in information security or cyber security.
• At least 4 years of experience in security auditing, risk management or security management.
• Proven experience in consulting or implementing cyber security programs aligned with national or international standards.
