About the role
A top-tier investment firm based in Doha, Qatar, is looking to add an accountant who will act as the key point of contact for all financial operations of its portfolio companies. The role is described as high exposure, with close interaction with senior stakeholders and key decision makers.
Key responsibilities
- Financial reporting and statutory annual audits
- Group consolidation
- Tax and regulatory compliance
- Accounting policies, practices and procedures
- Company formations
- Accounting systems and processes
- Invoice payments and receipts
- Treasury and banking
- Liaising with investment platforms
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field
- Professional accounting qualification (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA or CPA)
- Experience working across multi-functional teams in a collaborative environment
Required skills
- Technical experience in auditing, financial controls, accounting and bookkeeping
- Ability to build relationships with external advisors, banks and stakeholders
