Senior Information Technology Project Manager

About the role

The Senior Information Technology Project Manager will lead the planning, execution and delivery of complex IT initiatives, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, budget and quality expectations. This role acts as the central hub between technical teams, business stakeholders and external partners to drive projects to successful completion.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate, plan, and manage IT projects from start to finish, defining schedules, milestones and resource needs.
• Coordinate activities across technical and business groups, facilitating communication and alignment.
• Monitor and control project scope, timeline, budget, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Maintain project governance, produce regular reports and keep documentation up to date.
• Manage relationships with vendors, consultants and third‑party service providers.
• Lead project meetings, stakeholder updates and change‑request processes.
• Oversee testing, implementation, transition and project closure activities to ensure deliverables meet quality standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in project or program management.
• Proven track record delivering medium to large‑scale IT projects.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, PMI‑ACP, Scrum Master or other Agile credentials.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
