Senior Instrumentation Technician - Offshore

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is looking for a Senior Instrumentation Technician for an offshore position. The role keeps field instrumentation and control systems available and reliable so that offshore production can run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on field instrumentation and control systems
• Support offshore production operations by keeping instrumentation equipment available and reliable
• Take part in shutdowns, start-ups, commissioning and emergency maintenance
• Ensure compliance with offshore HSE regulations, permit-to-work systems and company procedures
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and calibration certificates
• Calibrate, test and maintain transmitters, control valves, analyzers and other field instruments
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC, DCS, ESD, Fire & Gas and SCADA systems
• Perform loop checks, cause-and-effect testing and functional testing of safety-critical instrumentation

Required profile

• 8 to 10 years of experience maintaining oil & gas production installations
• Higher National Diploma (HND), Higher National Certificate (HNC), BTS/DUT or equivalent technical qualification
