Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will lead performance, financial and compliance audit projects, ensuring adherence to professional and ethical standards. Working independently with general supervision, the role supports the development of the Annual Audit Plan and drives continuous improvement across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report on internal audit engagements, including entrance meetings, interviews, document reviews and surveys.
• Identify audit issues, develop criteria, analyze evidence and document findings in working papers.
• Prepare draft audit reports, coordinate point‑sheet dispositions and present findings to management.
• Assist consultants and external auditors, ensuring alignment with management objectives.
• Undertake special investigations and audits with diligence.
• Propose innovative solutions to improve processes and support strategic goals.
• Maintain productive relationships with staff and location personnel.
• Engage in professional development and share knowledge with colleagues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or Finance.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CRMA, ACCA or ACA.
• Minimum 6 years of internal audit experience, including at least 2 years post‑qualification.
• Strong technical ability in audit methodology and financial analysis.
