Senior Manager, Offensive Cyber Security

About the role

The Senior Manager, Offensive Cyber Security will lead the assessment of QNB's IT applications and infrastructure, identifying gaps against security policies and standards. This highly technical position requires an ethical hacking mindset and will involve vulnerability scanning, Red Team exercises, and coordination with external penetration‑testing providers.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments of systems, architecture, and compliance with IT security policies.
• Perform vulnerability scanning of all IT assets and manage remediation tracking.
• Participate in QNB Red Team operations, simulating offensive attacks to test defenses.
• Manage relationships with external penetration‑testing vendors and oversee third‑party testing engagements.
• Implement and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for offensive cyber security effectiveness.
• Provide ad‑hoc consultancy on emerging technologies and propose risk‑mitigation solutions.
• Collaborate closely with IT and business teams to align security services with operational requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in offensive security, ethical hacking, and vulnerability management.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders and adhere to performance and cost‑efficiency KPIs.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex security problems and recommend actionable solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to build relationships across IT and business units.
• Capacity to adapt plans and behaviours to achieve security objectives.
