Senior Manager, Special Projects

About the role

The Special Projects Senior Manager will lead Syntys' most critical cross‑functional strategic initiatives, ensuring rigorous execution and end‑to‑end delivery across multiple workstreams. This role acts as an extension of the project owner, providing content leadership and executive communication.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning, design and execution of strategic initiatives aligned with corporate objectives, co‑owning scopes, delivery plans and executive materials.
• Conduct market scans, competitor intelligence, partner assessments and scenario modelling to inform strategic choices.
• Lead governance routines, coordinate across commercial, operations, technology, finance, legal and procurement functions, and manage risks and dependencies.
• Assist in evaluating expansion opportunities, investments, partnerships, joint ventures and M&A for data‑center growth.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of experience in strategy, corporate development, management consulting or investment analysis, preferably in data‑centres, digital infrastructure or telecommunications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics or related field; MBA or master’s in Strategy, Finance or Technology Management preferred.
• Proven track record managing cross‑functional initiatives with senior‑level exposure, especially in developing markets.
