Senior Offshore Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Offshore Operations Manager to lead our marine services in Qatar. The role ensures safe, efficient and cost‑effective delivery of offshore vessel operations, logistics and crew management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily offshore marine operations, vessel schedules and crew movements.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, IMO regulations, ISM Code and offshore operational standards.
• Supervise offshore personnel, marine crews and subcontractors.
• Monitor vessel performance, fuel consumption, maintenance schedules and operational readiness.
• Coordinate with clients on project execution and service delivery.
• Develop operational plans, risk assessments and contingency procedures.
• Conduct inspections, audits and incident investigations.
• Prepare operational reports, budgets, KPIs and performance evaluations.
• Liaise with port authorities, regulatory bodies, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Optimise resource utilisation and control operational costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of offshore marine operations experience, including managerial responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of offshore support vessels, marine logistics and offshore HSE standards.
• Familiarity with IMO regulations and ISM Code.
• Leadership, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
