Senior Pavement Engineer – Roads Operations & Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Pavement Engineer to join our Roads Operations & Maintenance Asset Management team in Doha, Qatar. The role will advise on pavement asset management, support the Annual Asset Management Plan and ensure the long-term performance of a 2,300 km strategic highway network.

Key responsibilities

• Manage condition, performance and renewal of pavement assets across the network.
• Provide technical support to the Highways Asset Manager and coordinate with the Public Works Authority.
• Plan and execute machine pavement surveys (ROMDAS and LCMS2) following ASTM standards, from scope definition to data validation and recording in the Pavement Management System.
• Analyse pavement distress data and recommend maintenance, rehabilitation or emergency repair measures.
• Lead the development and continuous improvement of the Annual Asset Management Plan for pavement assets, complying with international design standards.
• Lead a team of junior engineers and inspectors in condition collection, lifecycle analysis and whole-life assessments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in pavement maintenance and asset management for large highway networks.
• Strong knowledge of ASTM standards and international pavement design specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and work with public authorities.
• Experience in preparing technical reports and asset strategy reviews.
