Senior Planning Engineer (QA)

About the role

Group AMANA is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer (QA) to support the planning and time‑control functions of its construction projects. The role involves maintaining schedules, analysing progress, and ensuring contractual milestones are met.

Key responsibilities

• Understand contract requirements for schedule updates, notices and milestones.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, time claims and update the planning module.
• Collect and validate actual site progress, coordinate with site teams and other divisions to improve time management.
• Develop and maintain baseline and tender schedules, including resource loading, cash‑in and cash‑out curves.
• Conduct delay analysis, identify risks and propose recovery strategies, and support extension‑of‑time claims.
• Generate client and internal reports, maintain documentation on servers or filing systems.
• Participate in site coordination meetings with subcontractors and suppliers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction planning and schedule management.
• Ability to collect and analyse productivity data from daily reports and timesheets.
• Strong communication skills to interact with site teams, cost control, procurement and engineering.
• Attention to detail in monitoring progress and highlighting foreseeable delays.
