Senior Researcher – Exercise Science & Data Collection

About the role

WHOOP Labs Doha is seeking a Senior Researcher to lead exercise‑based studies that feed into WHOOP’s product innovation pipeline. You will work closely with the Boston lab to collect and analyse physiological, exercise, and wearable data, ensuring high‑quality participant experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Localise and execute complex multi‑site research initiatives for machine‑learning, sensor validation, and product development.
• Collaborate with WHOOP Labs Boston to maintain methodological consistency across sites.
• Adapt protocols for the Doha environment, including activity and session structure changes.
• Own region‑specific research projects and contribute to global studies as an expert.
• Develop and maintain project plans, workflows, and deliverables, using project‑management tools.
• Coordinate timelines and dependencies to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Partner with recruitment, lab management, and other researchers for end‑to‑end study execution.
• Provide best‑in‑class customer service to participants and visitors, representing the WHOOP brand.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or professional experience in physiology, biotech, exercise science, or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience conducting research in exercise, performance, or health settings.
• Strong participant‑engagement mindset and customer‑service orientation.
