Senior Utilities Infrastructure Advisor

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Utilities Infrastructure Advisor to lead technical expertise in the operation, maintenance and optimisation of large‑scale drainage and wastewater networks. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure reliable service delivery and compliance with standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on the design, operation and optimisation of drainage systems and wastewater infrastructure.
• Review operational performance data, identify improvement opportunities and support the development of maintenance plans.
• Assist in asset optimisation strategies to extend service life and reduce costs.
• Ensure all activities comply with relevant engineering standards and environmental regulations.
• Mentor and support engineering and operational staff in best practices.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, recommendations and documentation for senior management.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering; Chartered status preferred.
• Extensive experience in drainage or wastewater operations, preferably within large‑scale utilities.
• Strong understanding of maintenance strategies, network performance analysis and asset management.
• Experience working in the GCC region is an advantage.
