Shift Supervisor – LNG Operations (Doha, Qatar)

About the role

Mekdam Technical Services is seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor to lead a shift team at its LNG facility in Doha. The role focuses on ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant plant operations while upholding the highest HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate shift personnel to achieve production targets.
• Oversee emergency response actions and ensure rapid, effective handling.
• Review and enforce Permit‑to‑Work (PTW) and isolation procedures.
• Prepare and submit accurate shift reports to senior management.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and HSE departments to resolve operational issues.
• Mentor and develop team members, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the oil & gas sector.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or shift‑lead role.
• Proven ability to manage emergency situations and make decisive decisions.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
