SketchUp Specialist / 3D Visualizer

About the role

Burjline Builders is looking for a skilled SketchUp Specialist / 3D Visualizer to join its creative and media operations in Doha, Qatar. The role develops accurate 3D models, visualisations, layouts and presentations for advertising campaigns, event setups, exhibition stands, retail displays, interior spaces and other creative projects. It is a full-time, permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models, layouts and visualisations using SketchUp.
• Develop 3D concepts for exhibition stands, event setups, promotional spaces, retail displays, interiors and advertising installations.
• Interpret design briefs, sketches, drawings, references and measurements into accurate 3D representations.
• Prepare realistic views, renders and presentation materials to communicate design concepts.
• Coordinate with designers, art directors, creative teams, project coordinators and other stakeholders.
• Revise models and visualisations according to feedback, design changes and client requirements.
• Ensure accuracy in dimensions, proportions, materials, finishes and spatial arrangements.
• Prepare design files and visuals for presentations, approvals and production, and keep project files and model libraries organised.
• Manage several assignments and meet deadlines while staying up to date on 3D visualisation tools and trends.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in SketchUp, 3D modelling, visualisation or spatial design.
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture, 3D design, visualisation or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, measurements and design briefs, with strong attention to detail, problem-solving and time management.
• Preferred: experience in exhibition stand design, event and stage setups, retail displays or promotional installations, and knowledge of practical fabrication and installation requirements.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in SketchUp and 3D modelling.
• Experience preparing professional 3D presentations and visualisations.
• Knowledge of materials, textures, lighting, dimensions and spatial planning.
• Familiarity with rendering tools such as V-Ray, Enscape or Lumion is an advantage.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop or other design tools is an advantage.
