Sports Business Systems Analyst Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sports Business Systems Analyst Lead to drive the analysis, implementation, and support of critical sports technology solutions. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to deliver and optimise Facility Management, Building Management, Venue Management, Event and Mobile applications.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and recommend technology solutions that improve operational efficiency.
• Lead business analysis activities for sports and venue management systems.
• Gather and document functional and technical requirements from stakeholders.
• Support implementation and deployment of FMS, BMS, venue, event and mobile applications.
• Manage integrations between internal systems and third‑party applications using APIs and integration platforms.
• Coordinate with vendors, business users and technical teams throughout project lifecycles.
• Provide application support, troubleshooting, user training and issue resolution.
• Support sports science and data analytics platforms by ensuring reliable system integration and reporting.
• Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements.
• Prepare functional specifications, process documentation and user guides.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of business systems analysis experience.
• Experience in sports technology, venue or event management environments is highly preferred.
• Hands‑on experience with Facility Management Systems, Building Management Systems, Venue Management Systems, Event Management Applications and Mobile Applications.
• Experience with API integrations and third‑party systems.
• Strong understanding of system implementation and software deployment.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence and reporting/data‑visualisation tools.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (CBAP, PMP, Agile, Scrum) are an advantage.
